Our witness

Quakers are often led by the spirit to put their faith into practice in what is often called “witness.” While individual Friends have many witnesses, below are some of the witnesses that our Meeting is led to.

2007	What I Heard About Iraq This play, by Simon Levy, is based on the prose poem of the same title by poet Eliot Weinberger. It is an invitation for all sides to take an honest look at what is going on in the Iraq war. It is truth-telling in the purest sense, which means that it is not taking sides, rather, it challenges everyone to see more of the truth through the many different voices of the characters in the play.
